Taylor International Motorsports  (TIM) was formed in 1988 and has achieved considerable success  over the past twenty years including numerous club championship wins, Super One round wins both in ICA and Formula A and the ‘O’ Plate in Formula A. 

In 2004 Taylor International Motorsports became the sole UK importer for Sodikart, Itaka and Box’s and  have spent the last four years developing the Sodikart chassis liaising closely with the Sodi factory team. All the hard work is paying off and in 2008 the team are competing against some of the finest pilots both here and in Europe and are achieving good results and fastest laps.

We are pleased to welcome back Jason Gardner who has returned to karting after a break.  Jason will return to battle in KZ1 and KZ2 on a Sodi BV B8.  Henry Easthope takes up the mantle in KF3 and has already achieved a fastest lap in the Final in the French Championships and two top ten finishes – all this after only eighteen months of karting.  With Messrs Bedford, Chew, Gorton, Hogg, and Winstanley also flying the Sodi flag at the Rotax Max Super One Championship achieving impressive results and Messrs Dunk,  Lall, Nzui and Pollitt strutting their stuff at club level on the new for 2008 Sodi SR5 chassis, Taylor International Motorsports are now a force to be reckoned with.

Taylor International Motorsports are also pleased to have recently forged a unique partnership with John Wellsted of Ricard fame. John needs no introduction as he is one of the most respected engine tuners in the country with a list of credits a mile long and with his collaboration we can expect to move from strength to strength.
